Lovejoy ISD Students Select City of Allen Athletes of the Year PDF Print E-mail

At the Allen Council Meeting this week, two Lovejoy ISD students were recognized as the city of Allen's male and female athletes of the year by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation and the city of Allen. The two athletes were presented with plaques from Mayor Steve Terrell. Hayley Deschenes, of Sloan Creek, was recognized as the female athlete of the year. Jelani Rainey, a junior at Lovejoy High, was recognized as the male athlete of the year.

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
