HeardRopesCourseThe Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary is excited to announce the grand opening of their new ropes course on Saturday, November 15th. Experience fourteen challenging elements located within the beautiful deciduous forest tree canopy.

November 15th will be an "open to the public" day from 9-5. It is a great opportunity for families and friends to experience working together to develop individual as well as team skills in order to complete three challenging elements including a 110-foot rock climb, dangle duo and a 500-foot zip line! Families and friends are sure to have an exciting, fun time cheering each other on and also experiencing their team's encouragement for themselves.

The ropes course is also available for businesses and organizations to help promote teamwork among employees as well as individual growth. Trust, communication, teambuilding and leadership are just a few of the skills your organization will focus on. Within the last ten years, outdoor teamwork-enrichment programs have increased in popularity and the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary is thrilled to participate in this expanding network through their Leadership Program. Their programs are uniquely created to give each participant and team an invaluable set of tools not only for personal growth, but also for professional development. The Heard will work with each team to create a unique program that fits their needs.

Get a Glimpse of the 14 ropes course elements: 110-foot rock climb, trust fall, 500-foot zip line, team power pole and many more!  Visit www.heardmuseum.org for details about the course.

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
