Are you ready to take that perfect photo?  Submit your work for the annual Heard Photography Contest!  Accepting submissions beginning February 1.

The annual Heard Photography Contest is back! They look forward to another successful event working with their affinity group, The Heard Nature Photographer's Club.

Sometimes life makes for such lovely, fun, unique, creative and artistic photographs. You may even have made that picture perfect shot during the holidays! Pick from numerous different photographic categories within these themes: wild nature, shared world, artistic, creative interpretation and nature experiences at the Heard.

In-person submissions must be received February 6 (from 9-1), February 7 (from 1-4) and February 13 (from 9-12:30).

Awards include best of show, 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places as well as categorical awards and prizes. Select photographs will be exhibited at the Heard February 28 - March 30, 2009

All proceeds from the contest will help to support and maintain the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary.
