Lovejoy Preschool Association held their second meeting on Thursday, October 16, 2008.  The meeting was held at Creekwood Methodist Church where we were refreshed with lattes and treats.  The Speaker Nell Bush, Ph.D. discussed "Giving Good Gifts to our Children."  This talk focused on some truly "good gifts" that parents can give their children--gifts that encourage, build self confidence and give true joy throughout the childhood years and beyond.  Her discussion was insightful and delightful.  She gave true life examples of ways her family expresses gifts with one another and gave the audience not only an enjoyable experience but substantial information that they could take with them.  LPA is open to anyone.  Although the membership drive is drawing to a close, you are still welcome to come and hear some of the wonderful speakers they have scheduled this year.
