About This Site
So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.
Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!

On September 23rd, students around the world celebrated 'See You At The Pole' with a gathering at school campuses. "See You at the Pole(tm) is a student-led, student-initiated movement of prayer that revolves around students praying together on the fourth Wednesday of September, usually before school and usually at the school's flagpole. It involves students in elementary schools, middle/junior high schools, high schools, and colleges/universities all over the world."(1) This year, more than 3 million students from all 50 states and in more than 20 countries--including Canada, Guam, Korea, Japan, Turkey, and the Ivory Coast--participated in SYATP. Lovejoy schools joined in, with students meeting before school at the different campuses.
