LEOPARD BASEBALL—Playoff Run Continue

There are now 16 teams left competing for the Division 3A Texas UIL State Baseball Championship, and Lovejoy is one of them. The next playoff match-up (Region semi-finals) is against the Argyle Eagles (last year's winner of the UIL Lone Star Cup).
We will play them in a 3-game series starting this Thursday night. The entire series will be played at Frisco High School's baseball field off of North 1st Street (north from Main Street) in Frisco. Here's the schedule ...
  • Game 1 -- Thursday, May 27th at 7:30 pm
  • Game 2 -- Friday, May 28th at 7:30 pm
  • Game 3 (if needed) -- Saturday, May 29th at 2:00 pm
Directions and more information are available off our booster website at http://lovejoybaseball.com.

We hope to see you out at the games supporting our players who are 2 series away from the State Championship Tournament.

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
