Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is my fourth day as the principal of LovejoyHigh School.  I am immersing myself into the high school programs.  Mike Goddard has really set me up for success. I am stepping into an exemplary high school that is a candidate for the Lone Star Cup.  We have top-notch teachers and our academic, fine arts and athletic programs are outstanding.  What an opportunity!

I plan to continue to communicate with you on a weekly basis to keep you informed of the important things happening here at LovejoyHigh School. I know at times it seems like there is too much information to get through, especially if you have students at multiple campus. As we review our communication systems, we will consider ways to provide you information in a timely and well organized manner.  We will also work to use our website and other communication outlets to keep you informed.

I look forward to starting the next chapter at LovejoyHigh School; I hope it reads as good as the last chapter.  As many of you have heard me say over the years, the school cannot do our job without your support.  Together we can do great things for your daughters and sons who attend the high school.

Summer Office Hours

·        Administrative Office hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Important Senior Information

·        Dual Credit Concurrent Enrollment with CollinCollegeis scheduled for this Friday in the Library 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The CollinCollege representatives will be on campus Friday morning to pre-register Lovejoy students. 

·        ACT at Lovejoy this Saturday, June 12, 2010... Be here early, start time 8:00 a.m.

·        Senior Pictures June - 17th in Auditorium beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Verification of Enrollment Forms

·        V.O.E. or Verification of Enrollment required for renewing driver's license and permits can be picked up in the front office.

UIL Sport Physical Forms

·        UIL sport physical forms can be picked up in the front office and turned into the front office.

Textbooks 

Please return textbooks or school issued items to LHS front office. Report cards will not be sent out to students who have outstanding textbooks.  If you are aware of lost or missing textbooks, please call 469-742-8700.
