PUSTER ELEMENTARY NEWS
Wednesday, May 26 Office will close at 3:30
The Puster office will close at 3:30 on Wednesday, May 26 so that staff members can attend our Staff EOY celebration. Please call the LISD main number, 469-742-8000 in case of an emergency.
Early Release and School <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Holiday
A reminder that Monday, May 31st is a school holiday. We hope you have big plans with your family. Also, Friday, June 4th, we do have a 12:00 release for all elementary students.
Puster School Supplies 2010-2011 – Ordering Deadline Extended to May 27
As a service to our families, the Puster PTA offers packs of supplies, shrink-wrapped and custom packed according to the exact requirements of our teachers. By ordering your School Wrap Pack now, not only will you be assured that your child has all the correct supplies, but you will save time and money. We will even have the supplies delivered directly to your child’s classroom and ready to unpack by Meet the Teacher night. What could be easier?
The deadline for ordering has been extended! Please return your completed order form to the office no later than May 27th. If you are ordering more than one Wrap Pack, you may order and pay for them on one form. You may pay by check or credit card. (No cash please.) Tax is already included.
Library Books Due
All library books are due on Wednesday, May 26th. Please have your students check at home and school and return all library materials. Thanks!!
From The Nurse
If your child has medicine at school, please make sure your child has exactly enough medicine to finish the school year. You are responsible for picking up any extra medicine as the school has a policy against sending medicines with students.
At the end of this school year, any remaining medicines, including inhalers, that have not been picked up will be thrown out. The school cannot store these for you during the summer.
Please remember, if your child is going to have medication at school during the 2010-2011 school year, you will need to have a new medication sheet filled out.

Puster Basketball Game
The Puster Basketball Game originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 25 has been changed to Monday, May 24 @ 1:30 because of the change with the 5th grade end of year party.
