Kindergarten students at Hart gave an adorable performance for family and friends the evening of November 5th.  Students sang 6 Thanksgiving and performed a play called Hooray for Thanksgiving. The kiddos looked great in their costumes and made the audience smile as they shared what they were thankful for at the end of the program. The kindergarten students also celebrated their very first Art Show as their work was displayed for visitors to see. The students studied the work of Piet Mondrian (an artist also featured in Art to Go) and created their own composition using black horizontal and vertical lines of construction paper. Then the students painted the rectangles and squares with primary colors. Another piece was feature-based on what students learned about primary and secondary colors. The students designed their own mouse and placed it on a background of both primary and secondary colors. They were absolutely beautiful!
