Hart Families and Friends,
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of our staff, students and parents for making this first week of school such a huge success! It has been awesome having our students back and our building filled with their laughter and learning! We are going to finish out the week with our first Hart Beat Assembly tomorrow at 2:30 PM so please join us for the fun and celebrating a great start to the school year!
We have some more exciting news to share with our Hart community, this year we have composed a vision for our school to capture our purpose here at Hart. During our summer work we felt that we needed to put into words what it means to be part of the Hart Family as a reminder of why we are here and what we want to accomplish for our students. We are proud to share with you the vision for Hart Elementary.
Hart Elementary Vision
Hart Elementary is a dedicated team
striving to reach our limitless potential;
so that our students develop confidence, courage,
a passion for learning,
and a commitment to contribute to their
ever changing world.
As a staff we collaborated to develop belief statements that define what it means to work as a team, to develop confidence, courage and passion for learning in our students as well as many of the other key words in our vision. To express how much we truly believe in our vision and our purpose here at Hart, we have attached a link below to a video presentation. A special thank you to Jennifer Larriviere, our new Library Media Specialist, for putting together this video. I hope you enjoy the presentation and know that it comes from our hearts and that we are truly grateful to serve your children.
PS: Animoto is a free video program that we have been using with teachers and students; you can also use this tool to make a video at home!
Thanks for making Hart such a great place to be!
Kathy :)
