Senior Project Combines Wiffleball and Susan G. Komen Foundation PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 05 January 2011 15:29

My name is Meghan Hancock and I am a senior at Lovejoy High School.  My Senior Project is the planning and organization of the 3rd Annual Wiffleball Tournament that is hosted by the LHS Softball team.  The tournament is January 8th, this Saturday.

The tournament is for 6th grade and older.   It would be great to have parents form teams and enter the tournament.  I know there are some middle school and high school kids that would love to have the chance to beat...  I mean, play some of their parents! So please encourage your kids to form a team or get one together with adults and students alike.   Even if you do not want to play I would like to give everyone a chance to donate to the tournament or even come out and watch.

I have attached the Donation Form and the Entry Form that includes information about the tournament.
I would greatly appreciate any support, as all proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Thank you,
Meghan Hancock

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
