Hello Lovejoy Families,

 

Last week we informed you that students in grades 2 and 4 would be taking the CogAT test and our students in grades 3 and 5 would be taking the ITBS on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. However, due to a delay in receiving test materials, the schedule for testing has been postponed. As soon as our materials arrive, we plan to begin administration of the tests. We will update you when the testing is set to resume. Thanks for your patience and understanding.    
 
Also, a reminder, this Friday will be school picture day.  Order forms were sent home in last Thursday's Folder.  Approximate times will be:
 
8:15-8:45 - Kindergarten
8:45-9:15 - First Grade
9:15-9:30 - Second Grade
9:30-9:45 - Third Grade
9:45-10:00 - Fourth Grade
10:00-10:15 - Fifth Grade

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
