Lovejoy Elementary has rolled out the red carpet for our Spring Book Fair!  Students have had a wonderful time purchasing many new books as well as journals, posters, pens and cookbooks.  Our leopards have also collected loose coins and bills that will benefit children in need.  Scholastic matches the monetary donations schools generate, with a donation of up to one million books to three national non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need: Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., National Center for Family Literacy, and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

We are very proud of the generosity shown by our students.  Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers to have helped set up. run and take down the book fair.  We could not do it without you!  Book fairs are a wonderful way to support literacy with your children.   Thank you for shopping at this year's fair!
