Lovejoy HS PALS Offers Babysitting December 12

This Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, the Lovejoy High School PALS program is offering babysitting for parents who would like to do their Christmas Shopping! This event will be held at Puster Elementary! The age group is from 2 years - 12 years of age, the cost is $20 per child. There will be a variety of activities for the kids to choose from; Christmas crafts, games, and movies to name a few. You can register that morning! There will be adults present to supervise all activities. This is to help the PALS go to the annual conference this February. Mini Majestics Dance Camp Dec 5

The Majestics Booster Club and Majestics Drill Team members are hosting a Mini Majestics Dance Camp on Saturday, December 5th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at LHS Gym and Dance Studio. The cost of the camp is $50 and registration ends December 2. It is open to all students in grades K-8. Students place at photo competition

Four Lovejoy high school students placed in the Association of Texas Photography Instructor's Fall Contest. There were over 7000 entries for various contests. The students that placed were: Advanced Music Video - Max Bevan and Dom Difurio Honorable Mention Advanced Short Film - Dom Difurio Third place Beginning Music Video - Anna Ellison Third place Beginning Animal Photo - Natalie Gates - First Honorable Mention

Lovejoy High School E-Waste Recycle Day THIS WEEKEND

LHS PTSA is sponsoring an E-Waste Recycling Day this Saturday, November 14th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Lovejoy High School parking lot. Look for the truck west of the stadium. If it runs on electricity, we take it. Also included are batteries, fitness equipment, servers and racks, cables and wires, tonors and ink cartridges. There is a $5 charge for CRT monitors and a $20 fee for TV's. For a complete list of recyclable items go to E-Wastecollections.net.
