Ivana Hong, Lovejoy High School Junior, placed 2nd at the VISA National Championships this past August in Dallas and has been invited to compete September 30-October 4 at the final World Team Selection Camp in Huntsville, Texas. Only 8 women are competing at the camp, with the top four gymnasts being named to the U.S. Women's Team to compete in the 2009 World Championships on October 13-18 in London, England.

This is Ivana's second year at Lovejoy and her 2nd World Championships, and we all wish her the best. Ivana's sister, Isadora, is in the 6th grade at Sloan Creek MS, and her brother, Preston, is in the 3rd grade at Hart Elementary.
