The LHS Band & Guard proudly present the 2009 LHS Blackout & Burgers with the Band Event as part of the Founder's Week celebration on Friday, October 16!!

Please join us in supporting our Band and Guard through the purchase of your Blackout shirts and Burger meal tickets. The proceeds directly benefit your kids!

The spirit behind the Blackout shirts is to show support for the LHS Varsity Football team during their game on Friday, 10/16/09 by creating a 'blackout' in the stands. The Burger meals will be served at the concession stand on the Home side from 4:30 - 7:00. Meals include a burger, chips, fountain drink of choice and a cookie - for $7.

The burger meal tickets and BLACKOUT shirts ($10 each) can be purchased at the LHS School Store M-F, 9-1. The proceeds from both the BLACKOUT shirts and burgers meals go directly to support the band students & program.  Enjoy the night off from cooking and come eat dinner with family & friends.

Blackout shirts and burger meal tickets are on sale at the LHS High School Store, M-F, 9-1 and SCMS School Store during lunches.

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
