On Saturday, November 1, eleven singers from Lovejoy High School performed with the Region 25 All-Region Choirs at McKinney North High School. Placing eleven students in these prestigious choirs is a huge honor, as All-Region contests are typically dominated by seniors from the largest schools.

The following students sang with the Mixed Choir and will continue competing for the very exclusive Area and All-State Choirs:

Kelsey Northcutt, sophomore: 13th Chair, Soprano 1
Kelsi Matthews, junior: 15th Chair, Soprano 2
Erin McInerney, junior: 12th Chair, Alto 1
Madeline Wise, freshman: 4th Chair, Alto 2
Kayla Graham, freshman: 11th Chair, Alto 2
Michael King, freshman: 7th Chair, Tenor 1

Connor Cavanaugh, a sophomore, is the First Alternate to Mixed Choir, Bass 2 section; he will have the opportunity to compete for Area and All-State Choirs.

The following singers earned spots in the All-Region Treble Choir, which also performed on Saturday evening at McKinney North High School:
