"‘To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday' delivers a luminous emotional journey of one man's difficulty in letting go, and the enduring bonds of the family that support him. It is a moving story that leaves you emotionally satisfied," said Jacob Saffle (David).

The production is about a family who comes together to deal with the anniversary of the death of Gillian--a wife, sister, and friend-played by Lauren McDaniel.  Her sister, Esther (Cindy Brugge), her brother-in-law Paul (Ben Camarillo), her daughter Rachel (Tessa Haas), Rachel's friend Cindy (Elizabeth Gienger), and a surprise visitor (Brittany Garrett) strive to help David let go of his misery and start living again.  "To Gillian..." is about overcoming hardship and strengthening the bonds of family.

The Lovejoy Theater celebrates their second production of the season, "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday" on November 7th and 8th.  The production will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the auditorium on both evenings.  Tickets can be purchased in the school store and the ticket booth for $7 for adults and $5 for students.
