The Senior Project allows the Lovejoy High School Senior Class to stand out in a crowd for all the good reasons and prepares them for what lies ahead. The Senior Project (or exemption by dual credit hours or 3 or more AP classes) is a graduation requirement. 
 
You have a great opportunity to make an impact on the life of a Lovejoy High School Senior by being a Senior Project Mentor.  This is a great opportunity for those who have a special interest, talent or expertise in an area  that could partner with a senior who has an interest in something very similar that you could inspire to great things ahead. The mentoring program asks that you meet with the senior 3-5 times over the remainder of the school year to help guide their research and their project experience.

Anyone from within the community/campuses or who has any interest is welcome to sign up to be a mentor. Background checks are required before final approval of being a mentor.
