This coming Saturday, 10/17 the band will be performing in the big UIL competition in Plano at Clark Stadium.  The buses will be leaving at around 1:00 p.m.  It was so cool last year when some of the football players showed up to cheer them on as they came out of the band hall.  You know those times that stick in your head about this whole LJ school experience?  Well, that is one of them. It was such a statement of programs supporting each other and very touching to a lot of people. Coach Puckett will encourage the players to come and support the Band as they leave on Sat.  We would like to encourage the gridiron members to take a couple minutes out of their Saturday to come and cheer the band as they board the buses to attend this year’s UIL competition.   It would be greatly appreciated yet understandable if you cannot. It is late notice.
