On November 5th, 2010, Mrs. Price, Mrs. Claborn, Mrs. Gerber and I will begin an incredible journey! My three great friends and I will be walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™. We will walk 60 miles in three days, camp out under the stars with our teammates and other teams taking this journey, and form bonds that will never be broken. We have named our team Hope Chest. We would LOVE to reach far beyond our goal of $2,300 a person. Sadly, we've probably all been affected by this disease in some way. If walking 60 miles means our children might never have to fight this disease, it’s worth every mile!

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
