The teachers and staff at Puster Elementary School found out that rose ceremonies are not just for contestants on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

Chris Harrison, host of the popular reality shows on ABC, recorded a personalized message for Puster Elementary from the mansion in which they film the rose ceremonies. In the television shows, the bachelor (or bachelorette) gives a rose to the contestants to whom he or she likes the best. The Puster Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) adapted this idea for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week (May 3-7, 2010). The PTA played Harrison’s video during the morning announcements and then hosted their own rose ceremony in each classroom. The PTA gave a rose to all of the teachers and staff at the Fairview, Texas school to show them how much they are liked and appreciated by the parents and students. Harrison likewise emphasized to the teachers and staff the importance of their job each and every day. Congratulations to the teachers and staff at Puster Elementary for getting the final 56 roses!
