This week in 3rd grade at Puster, it has been nothing but a “hopping” good time! The students are beginning their frog research using some cool technology, great books, interactive websites, and a few croaking class pets! Students have been watching videos on the IPODs about different types of frogs and amphibians. Students are using an interactive website to change the physical features and behaviors of frogs to see what they need in order to survive. Each classroom has been raising tadpoles for about a month now and the students have been able to daily watch the life cycle of a frog. We have a total of 10 froglets to observe! 3rd graders at Puster are wild about frogs!

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
