Lovejoy HS Junior Ivana Hong to compete at the 2009 World Championships PDF Print E-mail

Ivana Hong, Lovejoy High School Junior, placed 2nd at the VISA National Championships this past August in Dallas and competed September 30-October 4 at the final World Team Selection Camp in Huntsville, Texas.  On October 3rd, she was one of four women gymnasts to be named as a member of the US team to compete in the 2009 World Championships on October 13-18 in London, England.  This is Ivana's second year at Lovejoy and her 2nd World Championships, and we all wish her the best.  Ivana's sister, Isadora, is in the 6th grade at Sloan Creek MS, and her brother, Preston , is in the 3rd grade at Hart Elementary. About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
