Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am very thankful for the wonderful students you send us everyday. I am thankful for all the support you provide the school and the teachers throughout the year, and I am thankful for our hardworking and dedicated staff: teachers, aides, administrators, office staff, cafeteria workers and custodians. The combined efforts of everyone make Lovejoy and Sloan Creek a great place to be.

During the Thanksgiving break enjoy the time you spend with your children and families. We will see everyone on Monday, November 30.

NJHS Thanksgiving Box Donations

The National Junior Honor Society wanted to let everyone know that all of our Thanksgiving Box donations were delivered to Allen Community Outreach Friday. We had an incredible amount of food to donate. Our goal was to help 35 families, and the ACO representative that accepted our donations estimates that we helped 50 families! None of this would have been possible without your effort and participation in such a worthwhile event. Thank you for joining with NJHS to make this such a successful event!

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
