 Lovejoy Sports News Lovejoy Freshman Fare Well at OU Team Camp

A group of seven Lovejoy Freshmen (along with a couple of SCMS 8th graders) traveled to OU Next Level Team Basketball Camp last week to play in the JV Division and finished with runner-up honors in their conference. They fought with teams from Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri as they managed a 6-1 record in qualifying (losing their lone game by 1 point), and falling to the same team in the conference championship. They are to be commended for a great performance, as the only team they lost to was a Varsity team consisting of only 1 Freshman. As an added bonus, Shani Rainey was named MVP of the conference. About This Site
So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.
Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.
