The LHS Baseball team and Diamond Club Baseball Booster Club members held a successful Food Drive on January 16, 2010, at the Neighborhood Wal-Mart on Exchange.  There were over 50 volunteers who collected 87 boxes of food--that's approximately 3,480 lbs. of food for the Allen Community Outreach Pantry.  Thank you to our community for being so giving!!

We also had many volunteers who, on their Martin Luther King holiday, prepped and re-stocked the food pantry shelves.  In addition, the group collected over $243 in cash that was also donated to the ACO Food Pantry. 

Coach Emery is to be commended for ensuring that our baseball team is equally committed to "giving back" as they are to excelling on the field.  Great job Lovejoy Leopard Baseball !!   Upcoming events include our annual Flower Flat fundraiser and the commencement of season opening games February 9th in Little Elm.
