Dear Lovejoy Community:
 
Please expect my weekly email on Friday, but a significant decision occurred at last night’s school board meeting and I wanted to inform you immediately. Lisa Ellrich, board secretary, offered her resignation from the Board of Trustees effective immediately. Lisa and family are relocating in order to move closer to family.
 
The board appointed Chad Collins to fill out the remainder of Lisa’s term. Chad is president of the Dad’s Club at Hart and also serves as Vice-President of the Foundation for Lovejoy Schools. Chad attended Lovejoy Elementary and graduated from Allen High School. Chad and his wife, Kelly, are the parents of 3 children—two at Hart and one not yet of school age. More details about Chad Collins in Friday’s note. Chad will officially be sworn in at the next meeting.
