Dear Lovejoy Community,

Let it snow…..Let it snow…..Let it snow.

All after-school activities have been canceled for today.

In order to give you advance notice regarding tomorrow, we are announcing a 2-hour delay for Friday, February 12th. Therefore, Elementary campuses will begin at 10:00 am; Middle School at 10:45 am; and High School at 11:00 am.

Staff will report one hour prior to the opening of their campus. We will continue to monitor the road conditions and will make a determination on school closing no later than 6:30 am if necessary to close.

Please monitor the Lovejoy ISD website and the TV postings for updates.

About This Site

So much can be said in a name. In our case, our name says it all. First and foremost, this web site is a labor of love by a group of parents to celebrate the school district that is the heart of our community.

Lovejoy is a community of students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents and residents of all ages. This is a web site by and for our community. There are so many good things happening in this community on a daily basis that we had to dedicate a whole web site to showcase them.

We hope this web site will be a source of inspiration, and we invite all of you to share the love that is Lovejoy!
